Together, we honor African American history, heritage, and freedom. At our Juneteenth Jamboree, magnetic personalities lead us through an electrifying day.
This year, our widely acclaimed headliners include LA-based African dance company, Le Ballet Dembaya! Programming also includes dynamic storytelling by Yvette Brandy, a kids crafts table, tacos catered by Pacos Tacos of Sylmar, a general store, an African drum circle with Clarence "Chazz" Ross, and a reading of a Juneteenth-inspired 10-minute play "Abolitionist Biscuits," written by the ever-talented multi-medium writer, T.Tara Turk-Haynes!
Each jamboree is a unique and captivating musical, cultural, and historical journey.
